Who says you can’t go home? Part I

Weekademia is on the move!  Much more to follow but for now, there is a Bon Jovi song for every moment in life…

“Who says you can’t go home
There’s only one place they call me one of their own
Just a hometown boy, born a rolling stone, who says you can’t go home
Who says you can’t go back, been all around the world and as a matter of fact
There’s only one place left I want to go, who says you can’t go home

I went as far as I could, I tried to find a new face
There isn’t one of these lines that I would erase
I lived a million miles of memories on that road
With every step I take I know that I’m not alone
You take the home from the boy, but not the boy from his home
These are my streets, the only life I’ve ever known,
who says you can’t go home”

“Who Says You Can’t Go Home” written by Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora

I have spent the first decade of my career living and working in a location I have never considered home, yes its been great blah blah blah, but it has also been a logistical nightmare resulting in an unnatural familiarity with the M40.  I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to be moving home to the Midlands.

Bear with me whilst I relocate my life.  I have upcoming blogs on job hunting, applications and interviews etc after part II of ‘who says you can’t go home?’…
